One thing I love taking advantage of is “National Days” except August is National Peach MONTH and I am taking everything Peach I can get my hands on.

This week on the show DC and I enjoyed a local brew from Fort Worth, Texas’ Martin House Brewery – Parker County Peach or what they refer to as the PCP.

The beer launched in July of this year for the summer, but of course I had to save some for PEACH MONTH!

The beer itself is described as fruity and juicy with a mostly wheat base. Plus fresh peaches are added into the mix.

I personally love the vibrant pop art can that catches your eye. The beer itself is great on a hot summer day. You get the slight peach flavor on top of a light wheat beer. An easy sipper for anyone.

The trend we discussed this week is actually a continuation from a few weeks ago. If you don’t remember, on the show we had DC taste test two hard seltzers that are taking over the market – White Claw & Truly.

However, this last week three new big names announced their go at the hard seltzer game.

Natural Light introduced two hard seltzer flavors priced 20% lower than its competitors and at 6% ABV – Catalina Lime Mixer & Aloha Beaches.

Pabst Blue Ribbon announced their “Stronger Seltzer” coming in at an 8% ABV and currently available in 4 states in lime flavor.

Lastly, the daddy of them all, FourLoko, announced the “hardest seltzer in the universe” releasing a 14% seltzer sour with a hint of blue razz.

How are you feeling about seltzers taking over everything?
